Elon Musk's internet truly worth soared past Warren Buffett on Friday as the chief executive officer of Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) grew to become the seventh richest human being in the entire world, in accordance to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

The auto manufacturer's stock has jumped more than 500% over the past 12 months, giving Musk hope of challenging other members of the list, including Amazon owner Jeff Bezos, who has a net worth of $188 billion. Its market value was $ 286.5 billion.

A new day, an old Elon Musk and a new hawkish claim!

Making his move, he's now gone past Buffett, because he saw his wealth decline this week when he gave away loads of Berkshire Hathaway stocks to charity.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk's fortune rose by a staggering $6.07 billion on Friday (July 10) which followed an nearly 11% jump in the electric carmaker's stock. Cook's base salary that year was $3 million, with $7.7 million in bonuses, $884,000 in perks, and the remaining $122.2 million coming from stock awards.

Earlier this year, they hit one of those, so he's quids in.

The company's "Battery Day", where it is expected to reveal significant advances in battery technology will also be held on the same day, Tesla said.

These ventures will provide Tesla the opportunities to enhance the features of the SUV, now being produced in the brand's factory in Fremont for the market in North America.

Whatever, he's really rich, that's the point.
