Bilic's side are two points clear of Leeds, who are now second in the table and have played 41 games.

West Brom endured a frustrating start to the resumption of the Championship season, drawing with Birmingham City and losing to promotion rivals Brentford in their first two games.

But Albion, after a slow return from lockdown, have now recorded three straight victories and, despite the bright form Brentford continue to show in third, look to have regained their composure at a critical stage of the promotion chase, moving above Leeds who can regain top place against Stoke on Thursday night.

The report added that Semi Ajayi is likely to come back into the West Brom back four for the game.

However, Derby is in good form and unbeaten in five league games.

United sold arguably their best defender, Pontus Jansson, to the London club last summer and the Sweden worldwide has played a big role in the brilliant season they're having.

Meanwhile, Derby had their winning run ended by Nottingham Forest on Saturday when they had to settle for a 1-1 draw due to their last gasp equaliser.

Charlton and Bowyer had given Leeds supporters hope that they could have a chance of extending the gap between themselves and Thomas Frank's side, as the Addicks took the lead in the eighth minute.

There will be little room for error from both sides and the result could go either way depending upon which side gets more luck on the day.
