The "Plus" variant of the device, therefore, can be expected to come with better specifications.

While we've had various entries that double-down on select features, none of the current crop of Moto G devices has dared venture into the realm of super-fast 5G connectivity, which this latest series of leaks firmly points towards, giving us possibly two devices in the Moto G 5G and Moto G 5G Plus.

Another notable tipster Evan Blass has indicated that the Lenovo-owned Motorola may launch the Motorola Edge Lite as Moto G 5G.

We know that Motorola is on the verge of launching two new budget smartphones - the Moto G 5G, and the Moto G 5G Plus on Tuesday. It was added that that Motorola could still launch Motorola Edge Lite for Verizon in the USA with model number XT2075-1.

There is some confusion regarding the XT2075-3 that said to be codenamed as 'Nairobi.' It is speculated that it may even launch as Moto G 5G in the U.S. It may debut in some market as Moto G 5G Plus. Besides, the standard version is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC. It is believed to launch with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage options.

Users will also get the possibility to extend the storage by handling a dedicated microSD label groove. The phone also gets a 21:9 FHD+ display and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the front side, there is a narrow display featuring a dual punch-hole cutout that looks odd thanks to the actual space between the sensors.

Motorola has a launch event that is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 3 PM CET. So, we can conclude that Moto G 5G Plus could come with a huge 5000 mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging. As per the renders, the device will arrive with a quad rear camera module housed inside the rectangular cutout. The clock speed of the SoC IS 1.8 GHz and the device also happens to run Android 10.

The setup could consist of a Samsung GM1 48-megapixel sensor and a 4-megapixel macro lens. These will be paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. But, later a report by XDA Developers suggests the upcoming 5G smartphone bearing XT2075-3 model will be called Moto G 5G Plus. All of these are backed by a 4,000 mAh battery packed inside with 10W charging support.
