Most of these apps used to offer services like file managers, flashlights, wallpaper management, screenshot editor, and weather.

Google has removed the apps from the Google Play Store, but you should still check if you have any on the following list installed and make sure they are not present on your device.

Nearly 25 Android apps were deleted from the Google Play store recently after French cybersecurity firm Evina alerted the tech giant about some apps which were found to have been stealing Facebook login details of the users. Google said it had removed these apps from the Play store because they were caught stealing Facebook credentials.

As reported by ZDNet, in a blog post shared by Evina, says, these apps are stealing your Facebook. This is because Google has removed them from its platform but these apps need to be deleted manually from users' phones if downloaded earlier. Most of the apps were offering new wallpapers, and others were providing video editing tools and other tools.

If you think you may have downloaded one of the apps listed above then it's a good idea to delete it from your phone immediately and change your Facebook password. The malicious code first gets activated and then waits for when the user opens Facebook app to begin operations.

The malware also has the potential to mimic Facebook and overlay a web browser window, which directs you to a fake login page, as well on top of the Facebook app to distract users on a bigger level.
