It's been nearly five years since Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani put an end to their marriage and now, the man is opening up about the divorce!

When asked to share his most embarrassing moment, that is when the man opened up about his split from Gwen.

During his interview with the Guardian, Gavin discussed one of the most embarrassing moments of his life and claimed it was "the gross and lopsided specter of the crumbling of my marriage". The pair had been married for 13 years and together on and off for 20 when in August 3, 2015, the No Doubt singer cited irreconcilable differences in filing for divorce from the Bush frontman. An alleged cheating scandal involving the couple's nanny was said to be the cause, and almost five years later, Gavin and Gwen continue to successfully co-parent their three sons together, Kingston, 14, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 6.

Lowe's paternity was not discovered until 2004 following a DNA test, with her father originally believed to be Pearl's ex-partner Bronner Handwerger.

Gavin is not the only one who remembers the day it all came falling down, Gwen still remembers the exact date she found out about her husband's affair.

Lowe posted a picture of herself, Rossdale and her siblings to her Instagram last October to celebrate Rossdale's 54th birthday.

The country star was in a relationship with fellow singer Miranda Lambert at the time, pursuing a relationship with Stefani after the break up of both their marriages.
