As with all the events, the ROG Phone 3 launch event will be held virtually and should be available for everyone to watch.

Asus has confirmed that it will announce the ROG Phone 3 5G gaming smartphone on July 22 in a global online event.

The ROG Phone 3 is the next big reveal we're expecting this month.

The launch event will take place in the three countries - Taiwan, Italy, and NY.

Earlier, the phone surfaced on China's TENAA telecom authority with full specifications.

Last year's ROG Phone 2 offered top-of-the-line specs, such as a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and a very big 6,000 mAh battery, albeit in a bulky chassis with a design that many would find too brash.

The Galaxy Note 20 is aiming at a different audience to the ROG Phone 3.

If the Taiwanese company follows the same timeline as the ROG Phone 3's predecessor, then the upcoming device will be launched in October in the Philippines. The refresh rate is unknown at the moment, but it is expected to feature 120Hz refresh rate at the minimum. And the 3C certification website says it supports up to 30 watts of fast charging.

The phone expected to get power from the Snapdragon 865+ chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM.

Asus will be unveiling its latest gaming smartphone - and what could be the most powerful Android handset yet - in a few weeks' time.

The storage configurations aren't known, but last year's model was one of the first phones to offer a 1TB variant, so it's certainly possible that will make a return too. To recall, the ROG phone 2 comes with an impressive gaming experience which also created by Tencent.
