Sia once stepped in to stop Maddie Ziegler getting on a plane with disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.

"I know that there's been times where my insight has really made a difference, like has kept her safe", Sia said. "That's the most I can do really and that I'm always here for if she wants to cry or has a bad day or has questions about life-that's what I'm here for". "I just love her as a mother, I love her as if she were mine". You can just go back to being a normal person again.' But she just said, 'No, I love performing. The 68-year-old was found guilty of two of five felonies in February following a trial in Manhattan.

'As soon as I met Maddie I felt this extreme desire to protect her, and I think that it was part of my own healing, and I felt this extreme compulsion to protect her, ' Sia explained on the show. She called the experience "really disgusting", and added, "When he invited her, that's when I told Melissa, I just said, 'Please don't, do not do that, do not do that, do not do that'".

When you think of Sia, chances are good you also think of Maddie Ziegler, the Dance Moms alum who first starred in the singer's "Chandelier" music video when she was just 11-years-old.

Sia continued, "And I say, 'And you know it can stop at any time right?"

Weinstein has now been convicted of first-degree criminal sexual assault and third-degree rape, and was sentenced in March to 23 years in prison.

"I just try and help guide", Sia said of helping Ziegler's with her career choices. It's not good for her long term credibility.

Ziegler stars in the upcoming movie, alongside Kate Hudson and Broadway star Leslie Odom Jr.

'I can be a pain in the butt.

In the same interview, the singer admitted she "threw this child into the spotlight", prompting her motherly like instincts over Ziegler- who first appeared in Sia's chandelier music clip when she was 11. "I think her manager thinks I'm a real pain in the butt, I'm sure".

Sia has been celebrating good news of her own, after announcing she's become a grandmother at the age of 44 - just weeks after announcing she adopted two sons a year ago. In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music earlier this week, she revealed one of her two adult sons, who she adopted in 2019, had become a father. I would take a bullet for her, all the things parents say they would do for their children.
