Moreover, Video Games Chronicles has supported these claims, noting that the event is now planned for Thursday, July 23.

We know for certain that this event will primarily focus on first-party Xbox Series X games - that is, games from Xbox Game Studios.

Backend houses are gearing up for shipments for Microsoft's upcoming Xbox Series game consoles slated to debut at the end of July, and expect shipments for the new consoles to peak in the third quarter. While the Xbox Series X is rated for 12 TFLOPS of graphics performance and has 13.5GB of usable RAM, Lockhart will instead have a 4 TFLOP GPU and just under 8GB of usable RAM.

KitGuru Says: We'll have to wait and see how developers take to this two-console approach but it doesn't seem to be different from what we now get with Xbox One and Xbox One X. Although this time around, both consoles will be using much more capable hardware.

But this event will not exclusively focus on first-party titles, VGC's sources also claimed that we will see some third-party Xbox Series X games during the event.

Eurogamer's Tom Phillips claims in a recent post that the Series S reveal is now planned for August.

All of these demos (many of which will be early builds, unlike typical game demos) will be available via the Summer Games Fest Demo tile on the Xbox One Dashboard during the event, which is due to take place from Tuesday 21st July to Monday 27th July.

Xbox has just announced a Summer Games Fest demo event that will give Xbox One players the chance to demo 60 plus brand-new games.

Microsoft will presumably release more information regarding the Xbox Series X July event in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for further details.
