The reason behind the ban are unknown at this point, and remain unconfirmed.

Now he's been banned and apparently it's for good with Twitch even going so far as to contact paid subscribers for refunds.

Streaming star Dr. Disrespect has spoken out about his recent ban from Twitch.

Well-known eSports consultant Rod "Slasher" Breslau, who is plugged into the streaming community, noted on Twitter that Dr. Disrespect's removal from Twitch is not related to a recent string of copyright takedown notices that some other streamers have been receiving.

As of now everything is speculative in terms of why he's been permanently banned from the platform with people throwing accusations of crimes as well as the whole thing being a publicity stunt.

This isn't the first time the 38-year-old has been banned from the streaming platform. With a reason yet to be confirmed, we take a look at what we do know at this time.

And in a shocking turn of events, even he doesn't seem to know why he's been banned. "These apply to all streamers regardless of status or prominence in the community", Twitch said to Polygon. In the statement, she thanked fans for their "love, support, strength, and kindness".

"Guy is a ideal fit for the studio", Sledgehammer's then-CEO Glen Schofield said when Beahm was hired a little over a year after that first video went up. Mrs Assassin has often been featured as a character during his livestreams.

A former developer of Call of Duty at Activision Blizzard, Beahm coined the Dr Disrespect persona, a loud, brash, over-the-top character who wears a wig and sunglasses and sports a mustache and bulletproof vest while playing games such as Call of Duty and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

Social media was sent into a frenzy when footage from Doc's last stream was uploaded to YouTube and sparked confusion.

We have gone to Dr Disrespect for a comment and will update the article if he gets back to us. Life's weird right now. We'll get through this okay. "And uh.f**k", before abruptly ending his broadcast. A day later on the night of June 27th, however, the Doc finally spoke.

According to Breslau, Beahm's ban comes not from Twitch's notoriously heavy-handed DMCA approach, but the exact reason hasn't been made clear yet although Breslau said that "due to the importance and sensitivity around the subject", he wouldn't divulge any other info from his sources. He claims that several credible sources have told him why Twitch has banned him.
