It was none other than Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds.

In a 'Comic Relief'-style sketch, 'X-Men' cast members Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Famke Janssen and Patrick Stewart are catching up when Ryan Reynolds barges in.

Ryan and Hugh, who co-starred in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009, have always had a hilarious bromance. Jackman gently tried to push Reynolds out of the reunion - "See ya, Ryan" - when the Deadpool actor revealed that he'd actually invited a few others from different X-Men films. "It's kind of surreal you guys, I can't believe it's been 20 years since the first aX-Men' movie", Hugh Jackman was saying, according to a report in, and suddenly Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds popped on the screen.

After James McAvoy and Sophie Turner both enter the chat, Reynolds makes a remark about the multiple timelines and then adds "It's just like the X-Men movies".

Turner excused herself to attend Game of Thrones reunion; Berry and Janssen escaped by way of James Bond engagements; McAvoy claimed to have call with the Split cast; and Stewart, following everyone else's cues, simply said "Star Trek" and peaced out.

Ryan Reynolds never passes up an opportunity to prank his mate Hugh Jackman.

Soon, almost everyone had left to attend other reunions (for Star Trek and James Bond, for instance) except Reynolds and Jackman.

Jackman explains to the Canadian that the four castmates were just reminiscing about their time in the three movies together.

Liev Schreiber pops in to say, "X-Men Origins reunite!"

"Sometime in the not too distant future the hard work of every global citizen will bring about a healthier, safer, more equitable world".
