City went down 2-1 to Chelsea in the Premier League on Thursday, a result which assured Liverpool of a first top flight title for 30 years.

The draw for the FA Cup semi-finals has been made and they are going to be electric.

The much-awaited showdowns will be played at Wembley on the 18th and 19th of July.

The draw means Chelsea and Manchester United are meeting for the fourth successive season in the competition.

De Bruyne popularly known as KDB, is the first City player to score a goal on his birthday since Nolito against Everton in October 2016.

Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley turned in a cross from Willian midway through the second half in a 1-0 win at lacklustre Leicester City on Sunday (Monday NZ time).

An injury-time strike from Dani Ceballos saw Arsenal squeeze past Sheffield United 2-1 in their last-eight clash at Bramall Lane on Sunday. David McGoldrick cancelled out a first half Nicolas Pepe penalty and just as it looked as though we were heading for extra-time, Dani Ceballos slotted home a late victor for the Gunners.

The FA Cup final will be live from Wembley on BBC One on Saturday, 1 August.

England striker Raheem Sterling added a second goal in the 68th minute, superbly striking home a low shot after fine approach work by Aymeric Laporte, Phil Foden and Benjamin Mendy.

Manchester United were the first to make their way into the semi-finals on Saturday evening, though Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side laboured to a 2-1 win over a 10 man Norwich after extra time, captain Harry Maguire netting a 118th-minute victor for the Red Devils.

Whom will it end in premium tears for?
