Every free PS4 game you can download in July

PlayStation Plus subscribers will have a chance to download National Basketball Association 2K20, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Erica for free from Tuesday, July 7th through Monday, August 3rd.

Keep reading to see which games PS Plus members can download for free in July 2020. In the new MyCareer mode, you'll create a basketball player from scratch and work your way up the ranks. The game has received some criticism for its perceived focus on microtransactions and monetization. Updated and released a year after it arrived on Xbox and PC, the 20th Anniversary Edition includes all the DLC for the game, including a special Blood Ties VR component that'll let anyone with a PSVR headset explore Croft manor more personally. Javy Gwaltney gave the game a 6.8 in our review, calling it a "decent action-adventure game with some nice moments but it's also lacking in the ambition and artistry embodied by its predecessor".

July's PlayStation Plus games are available to download through August 3. The PlayStation Plus July game lineup will be available for subscribers from July 7th until August 3rd.

PlayStation also shared a glimpse again graphic of PS Additionally through the many years. The description reads: "This feature-length cinematic experience merges high-fidelity Hollywood production values with engaging, tactile gameplay". Erica is an choice-based interactive thriller about a young woman (funnily enough) called Erica, who is plagued by nightmares of her father's death and sets out to uncover the true about what really happened.

Note: In order to play Erica, you'll need to download the Erica companion app on your smartphone and have a Wi-Fi connection. SIE will be offering free online multiplayer weekend as well starting July 4 at 12:01 AM PT through July 5 at 11:59 PM PT. It will be available for a limited time, Sony says.
