Blackpink's new song tops iTunes charts in 60 nations

The girl group from Seoul has released a new music video called How You Like That on Friday, which received tremendous response from their fans to break the previous single-day record of 74.6 million by BTS, and made 84.2 million views, and stands at 130 million now. The globally-known K-pop boyband, BTS, were the previous record holders for their comeback video in April 2019.

Blackpink's latest video amassed 82.4 million views in the first 24 hours of release on June 26, i.e. Friday.

BTS' YouTube viewership record has been broken over a year later - although it might not surprise you to hear who managed the feat. It amassed 56.7 million views in the first 24 hours, as per official record.

One of the biggest K-pop girl groups today, BLACKPINK debuted in 2016, storming multiple music charts back to back with their edgy hip-hop tracks "Whistle" and "Boombayah".

Blackpink's music video also beat another BTS record when it became the fastest video in YouTube history to reach 100 million views in 32 hours, at about 2.23am on Sunday, according to their label YG Entertainment.

The music video for "How You Like That" was released yesterday through the YouTube platform, on the BLACKPINK channel, so far it has more than 93 million views and more than 6 million likes. Blackpink, however, managed to achieve 100 million views in only 1.5 days, as per website Out of many, the popular girls' band, Blackpink has just released a video after taking a year-long break.
