Ajax boss Eric Ten Hag has warned Chelsea that their new signing Hakim Ziyech can be a "trainer's nightmare". Ziyech will be presented as a Chelsea player next week, once his contract at Ajax has expired on June 30th.

However, for all his talent and ability, Ajax manager Ten Hag has now claimed that the creative midfielder can be volatile, but added that his stubborn attitude helps make him a great player.

Ajax have already lost Hakim Ziyech to Chelsea this summer and Ten Haag admits it will be hard to replace him, while he intends to use Lisandro Martinez in place of Tagliafico, should he leave. You see what his emotions are doing to him today.

"For Onana and Van de Beek, another year of Ajax could certainly be an option, for Tagliafico it is slightly different because of his age".

Left back Tagliafico, 27, linked with Premier League duo Chelsea and Arsenal, is the most likely to leave according to ten Hag, who is waiting to see how the transfer window develops this summer following the completion of domestic leagues and the impact the coronavirus crisis has had on clubs across Europe.

The Dutch head coach told Ajax TV after Ziyech's final training session with the club: "Hakim is "what you see is what you get". That is the example for the younger players here. First become the best here, win titles and then take the step.

"He is a character, headstrong".

"He sees things that others don't see".

"If they start playing on their responsibility, you see the development".

"We have agreed with Ajax that he would leave this year", Schlieper said.
