Manchester United sealed their place in the last four on Saturday when they won 2-1 away at Norwich after extra time, as Harry Maguire struck with two minutes left to play against the hosts, who went down to 10 men late in the second half.

Both semi-finals on the weekend of July 18/19 and the final on August 1 are scheduled to be held at Wembley Stadium behind closed doors. They then got the better of the Blues at Stamford Bridge with a 2-0 Premier League victory in February.

The remaining fixture is the round's final chance for an upset, with reigning champions Manchester City set to square off against Newcastle United at St James Park.

Manchester United last played Chelsea at the semi-final stage in 1996 when Andy Cole and David Beckham scored the goals in a 2-1 victory, Ruud Gullit, shortly to succeed Glenn Hoddle as player-manager, scored for Chelsea against a side that went on to complete the Double by beating Liverpool in the final by virtue of Eric Cantona's victor.

Record-holding, 13-time winners, Arsenal also made it into the last four after Dani Ceballos netted a stoppage-time victor for Mikel Arteta's side after Sheffield United's David McGoldrick had equalised following Nicolas Pepe's first-half penalty.

The two sides faced each other in a Wembley semi-final three years ago, where Arsene Wenger's side managed to prevail over Pep Guardiola before going on to lift the cup.
