WONDER WOMAN 1984, USA character poster, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, 2020.

Last night it was confirmed that Warner Bros. has pushed back the release of a number of its big 2020 (and 2021) offerings as a result of the ongoing public health crisis, including two of this summer's biggest hitters in Christopher Nolan's time-bending sci-fi action thriller Tenet and the DC Extended Universe superhero sequel Wonder Woman 1984.

Warner Bros. has delayed a bunch of their tent pole movies for this year, with Christopher Nolan's Tenet and The Matrix 4 both delayed - and now Wonder Woman 1984, for the third time.

The Patty Jenkins-directorial stars Gal Gadot in lead. Thank you to our fans for being so great, by our sides.

Yes, to entertain us now, we have its trailer with us, and the first trailer of Wonder Woman 2 trailer launched on 8, Dec., if you haven't watched it yet, make sure to view it. Can't WAIT for you to see it!

Back in July 2019, the studio revealed that the sequel, which will take place during the Cold War in the '80s, wouldn't hit theaters until December 13, 2019. Then Warner Bros. chose to move the date up by a month, opting for November 1, 2019, instead. Many wondered why the studio was so insistent on keeping Tenet in July, despite the likelihood that there would be few changes to the state of the pandemic in just two weeks. Talk about an emotional roller coaster. Now, the film will release on October 2, almost four months after it was originally supposed to hit the theatres. Most films have been delayed indefinitely, but at least there's light at the end of the tunnel for Diana and company.
