Telegram adds video editor and more creative tools

The app has proven to be fast, safe and reliable for voice calls, messaging, sending videos, photos and files. Hence, the latest version of the brings a host of new features like video editor, animated stickers in photos and videos, two-step verification, cache management, and more. The developers have also confirmed that they're now working on some highly-requested features like secure group video calls, which will be released at a later date. Apart from the new active user milestones, the app also introduced educational snippets and quizzes together with a new 20,000 stickers directory.

The video enhancement feature will enable users to tweak videos in two taps with dozens of parameters like saturation, brightness with a zoom-in option while drawing.

If you have ever wanted to make a cute scene out of a picture you take, Telegram has you covered. The app now supports adding animated stickers to photos and videos.

The GIF panel also received some new features which include a trending section that allows you to choose from the most popular GIFs on the app and emoji-based sections which provide relevant GIFs for emojis such as the thumbs up or heart eyes. You can find the complete changelog for the latest Android release in the section below. However, keep in mind that adding an animated sticker to a photo turns it into a GIF.
