Wajid Khan's Brother Sajid And Family Bid Tearful Adieu To Music Composer

The music composer Wajid Khan passed away on May 31 due to a cardiac arrest. Many celebrities and actors from Bollywood shared their shock and disbelief over the unfortunate date of the music director.

In the video, Wajid, dressed in hospital clothes, is seen playing a virtual piano on a smartphone app. The 42-year-old musician had underlying kidney issues. His tweet read, "Wajid Vil always love, respect, remember n miss u as a person n ur talent, Love u n may your attractive soul rest in peace". Sharing the video, Sajid Khan wrote, "Duniya chut gayi, sab kuch chuta, na tune kabhi music chodda, na music tujhe kabhi chodega". Mere Khushi mein, meri duaaon mein, mere naam mein tu hamesha rahega. But recently he got to know about kidney infection. "Love you and may your attractive soul rest in peace".

Coming from a rich lineage of music stalwarts, Sajid-Wajid, debuted in Bollywood with Salman's 1998 movie Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya. They later went on to work with Salman in several of his films including "Garv", "Tere Naam", "Mujhse Shaadi Karoge", "Partner", "Veer" and the popular "Dabangg" franchise. Sajid-Wajid even composed Salman's another song 'Pyaar Karona' amid the lockdown.

Meanwhile, Wajid also did playback for Salman in chartbusters like "Mera He Jalwaa", "Fevicol Se" and for Akshay in "Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita" from "Rowdy Rathore", among others.

Sajid-Wajid also featured in the music reality shows Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2012 and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar.
