Prey VR listing indicates Bethesda may have revealed the game at E3

Over the last few days Arkane Studios has been celebrating its 20th anniversary, and over that time it has been re-visiting its games as well as how the studio has evolved over that time. Well, it seems our adventures in space could be back for a second round, as a listing on a United Kingdom retailer pointed towards the existence of Prey VR.

The page, which was seemingly taken down after being discovered, suggests that the game would be exclusive to PSVR. It seems to be for PlayStation 4 and requires a PlayStation VR headset to play. Further adorning the case in question is the title for Prey VR in all white against a black backdrop. They also have been converting their big properties like Doom, Fallout, Wolfenstein and Elder Scrolls into modified VR experiences for the past several years: so all of this checks out. With so little to go on, it's hard to discern whether this serves as a new Prey project or something related to Typhon Hunter, free DLC that features VR modes.

Granted, Prey already has its own VR spinoff in the form of Typhon Hunter. With the tiny Mimic's ability to, well, mimic things, it was certainly a fun way to spend some time.

If Prey VR is in the works, it'll be interesting to see when and how Bethesda shares the news. This could, of course, be a full conversion of the 2017 immersive sim shooter Prey into VR.
