It was later discovered that Manager "A" had wasted all of Lisa's money on gambling.

Blackpink member Lisa has been swindled of one billion Korean won (RM3.5 million) by her former manager, her entertainment agency YG Entertainment confirmed today in a statement. According to the report published Tuesday morning, Lisa's former manager pocketed some 1 billion won ($816,000) of the singer's money after promising her it would be invested in real estate.

The manager was said to be a person whom Lisa had trusted and had gained a positive reputation within YG Entertainment, the company that manages BLACKPINK. "The manager had worked with Blackpink since its debut, and Lisa had depended on them from early on in her career", the report said.

As BLINKS prepare to finally welcome some brand new music from BLACKPINK, who are embarking on a three-part comeback from this month, there was some shocking revelation about Lisa that had fans anxious.

According to Lisa's wishes to settle this amicably, as the former manager was someone Lisa had trusted, Manager "A" has reimbursed a part of the sum and has left the company after agreeing on a reimbursement plan for the rest of the sum.

The source added that as a young foreigner in South Korea, Lisa was an easy target for financial scams and hoped that YG Entertainment would take responsibility for the hurt and financial losses caused by their staff member.

"We are giving all our support and efforts to help BLACKPINK grow intobetter music and great artists, which is an important thing to repay fans who love and support our artists". "We are taking preventive measures so that this does not happen again".
