The match, dubbed "Champions for Charity" featured an A-List four-some group of Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning, along with Phil Mickelson and the-now Tampa Bay QB, Tom Brady.

Woods, playing alongside 7-handicap player Manning, spoke highly about both quarterbacks after the match. The players and WarnerMedia collectively raised $20 million for COVID-19 relief.

Serving audiences starved of live sport during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, at its peak, The Match II drew 6.3 million viewers for the network as Brady holed a birdie from the fairway. Brady later joked about the incident on Twitter saying, "The trousers wanted in on social distancing I guess". He missed so far right it would be comparable to a pass that landed three rows into the stands.

Brooks Koepka wasn't as lucky as Spiranac, forking out $100,000 after betting Brady wouldn't make a par.

One shot shut everyone up.

And that's when Brady pulled off the unthinkable, holing out his fourth shot on the par-5.

Barkley said before this shot that he'd give $50,000 to Brady just to keep the ball on the green. Brady broke his mic and split his trousers on the shot, but it was worth it to get back at Charles Barkley, who had been trash-talking the six-time Super Bowl champion all day.

Woods still thought he won the hole with a 25-foot eagle putt that instead spun hard off the back of the lip.

"I take my hat off to Tom and Peyton", said Woods.

The match was the most-watched cable telecast of a golf competition in television history.

It follows Rory McIlroy's £4m skins event last week involving Dustin Johnson, Rickie Fowler and Matthew Wolff also in aid of charity.

The event comes two-and-a-half weeks before the PGA Tour plans to resume its season on 11 June.
