New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, also a Democrat, last month said residents should wear masks when outside the home and when near other people. "Fine. But then you don't have a right to go into that store if that store owner doesn't want you to", he continued. They might be doing it because they have a 5-year-old child who's been going through cancer treatments.

While the study may reinforce some key messaging public health officials in Canada and around the world have been giving around the use of face coverings to help limit the spread of COVID-19, Cynthia Carr, an epidemiologist and health policy expert with EPI Research Inc., says the biggest question she has with these findings is how achievable it will be for families to actually wear masks inside their homes and do so safely.

Fox News contributor Lawrence Jones spoke to New Yorkers this week about Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo's handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

"This is a lack of respect for human life from our governor", the administrator added.

Who would have thought that wearing masks in public would prove such a controversial issue?

Cuomo announced that Nassau and Suffolk counties could begin reopening parts of their economy. "Put your ego aside, you know, and come together". "I said the 25th, so, my mother was looking forward to that date".

Thus far, the state has distributed over 8 million masks to New Yorkers, with an additional 1 million masks set to be delivered Thursday to the communities hit hardest by the pandemic.

Rock said he was tested for the coronavirus earlier and joked that he had "just passed" the test with a score of 65.

The ostensible goal of his Wednesday White House visit is to woo President Donald Trump on supporting infrastructure projects like a new rail tunnel under the Hudson River, which Cuomo has said are key to reinvigorating the state economy. "But he will send likely infected patients, untested, to cough on the other elderly residents in nursing homes where they're meant to be safe". "If you love your grandmother, if you love your elderly mother, your elderly anybody, you should get tested".

"I understand they (politicians) have to buy votes". "But if you have a private store owner, by the executive order, he has the right to say 'if you're not wearing a mask, you can't come in'".
