"Although some things are warranted and I understand, it's just us as people have got to be smart enough to go...you know what, whatever has happened, has happened, but people deserve a chance to move on".

The Jumanji star has now explained why Parrish did not dump him, but reveals the relationship has not been "a walk in the park".

Hart praised Eniko by referring to her as "the strongest person in the world".

Hart continued, "But it was her understanding that we don't let the outside world affect our inside, and I credit her for setting that tone".

The couple announced Parrish is pregnant with their second child in March.

In a social media post, he shared a photo of himself with his three children and pregnant Eniko who cradled a baby bump while wearing a pink sash with "Baby Girl" printed on it.

He wrote: "Happy Mother's Day to this handsome woman & wife of mine". "Soon to be a family of 6 #glowingandgrowing". "This Mother's Day God has blessed us with another baby girl".

According to him, she made a decision to give him a second chance and gave him some conditions to live by. "All I can say is thank you honey".

The 40-year-old actor and comedian, who faced widespread criticism in 2018 over past homophobic tweets, which led to him cancelling plans to host the Academy Awards, thinks "it's weird to really hold people at a level that they never asked to be held at".

"I wasn't ready at the time to just give up on my family. We're a team. Without them, I don't know how I'd be able to do it".

She added: "It was a lot for me, but we've been through it, we've gone through it, we passed it and he's a better man now because of it".

"You get to 21, and there's a celebration of you now being an adult, because you spent those years being a kid, doing the things that a kid is supposed to do."

Having reflected on his behavior over the past few years, Hart said he believes people need second chances.
