During the after-show segment Anderson confessed that she hasn't stayed in touch with her former co-stars from the series which featured David Hasselhoff, Carmen Electra, Yasmine Bleeth, Brandon Call and Jeremy Jackson.

"I didn't like it", she said. Let's keep bad television as bad television; that's the enchantment of Baywatch ... That would be what Baywatch star Pamela Anderson would tell you, anyway. "Trying to make these movies that are television is just messing with it".

Continuing to praise the genre, Anderson added that while many films require a sizable budget, it's easier to make do with less for television - without making a big sacrifice in quality.

The movie wasn't a significant hit but still managed to make $177 million globally, critics had a different view about the film, the TV show was a significant hit and while adapting something that famous there is always a risk that the audience will not relate to it.

'You have the same explosions, the same sequences of water, that's the fun part.

Shortly after the film was released, star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson poked fun at its low Rotten Tomatoes score, which at the time had been bumped up 18 percent.

She may have been convinced to head back to the beach for a cameo appearance, but Baywatch icon Pamela Anderson has admitted to Andy Cohen that she wasn't a fan of the 2017 big screen reboot led by Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.

'Yay positive upticks, ' he joked on Twitter. People just want to laugh & have fun. Anderson also said she would "never" date a friend's ex.
