NASA Researchers Found Hyperactive Particles In Antarctica, New Mystery Surrounds

All the news stories have found their source material from one particular publication New Scientist, which back in April called an article with the headlines that soon grew wings and became viral. Thus from the reports, though NASA has come up with lot many new discoveries, the findings of the parallel universe where the time runs backwards are not one of their list of discoveries. Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA) is a telescope that contains of radio antennas hooked up to a large balloon that hovered over Antarctica at a really excessive altitude of round 37kms. It is run by a multi-university consortium led by Peter Gorham of the University of Hawaii-Manoa. "These include things like weird features in Antarctic ice that could distort the signal of otherwise innocuous cosmic rays". Because they have very little interaction with matter, they are incredibly hard to detect. "To detect a heavier particle - a tau neutrino - coming "up" out of the Earth would imply that these particles are actually traveling backwards in time", according to the Daily Star.

Parallel universes are something any sci-fi fan worth their salt knows about thanks to decades of pop culture, where they have depicted everything from an evil Mr. Spock with a goatee to a Spider-Verse where Miles Morales teams with fellow web-slingers. And in 2016, ANITA heard some "anomalies" which scientists for the last two years have been researching. The researchers stated in January that "other explanations for the anomalous signals - possibly involving exotic physics - need to be considered" as a result of the usual mannequin of physics cannot clarify these occasions.

"'Exotic physics' can be the place this concept of a parallel universe suits into the dialog".

What are the chances?

While the only thing stable and sure is that the current standard model for physics is not enough to demonstrate what's happening in the Antarctic region.

"Our evaluation dominated out the one remaining Standard Model astrophysical clarification of the anomalous ANITA occasions".

Until there's more scientific consensus on these findings, we'll just have to stick to pop culture for our fix of parallel universes and time craziness, such as in Christopher Nolan's upcoming film Tenet.

There is some bad news and this will burst the bubble of those who have been cheering about the claim that NASA had discovered a parallel universe, it has now emerged that the claims were not only exaggerated, they were also misrepresented.
