Defender Serge Aurier arrived at the training ground in his vehicle wearing a face mask, with the club saying they are looking into an incident after the Ivory Coast worldwide appeared to violate coronavirus social distancing guidelines by posting an image of himself receiving a haircut on Instagram. The 27-year-old is in hot water again after posting a picture on Instagram on Tuesday in which he's receiving a haircut.

"You should stay alert when you leave home: washing your hands regularly, maintaining social distancing, and ensuring you do not gather in groups of more than two, except with members of your household or for other specific exceptions set out in law".

But the right-back will now be asked to explain himself over why he felt the need to get his hair cut at a time when hairdressers have been ordered to remain closed until July.

Aurier did not specify exactly when he received the haircut, but posted the image nonetheless.

Aurier shared a video of himself wearing a mask while training with fellow Tottenham man Sissoko on social media before swiftly deleting it.

He has already been in trouble twice during the pandemic lockdown after going out for a run with a friend and training too close to Tottenham teammate Moussa Sissoko who apologised and made a donation to the country's National Health Service.

Aurier then responded to criticism of his actions with a further post.

A Tottenham statement said: "We are investigating the circumstances and will deal with the incident appropriately".

Even without these transgressions, Aurier was in danger of being sold by Spurs this summer anyway.

Having been tested for coronavirus with the rest of the squad and returning a negative result, Aurier was pictured arriving at Tottenham's Enfield training ground on Wednesday.
