Patricia Ripley and her son Alejandro Ripley were driving down a Miami-Dade roadway when a auto apparently tried to sideswipe her, CBS Miami reported. The men allegedly ran to Ripley's vehicle and demanded drugs, but Ripley told them she didn't have anything.

The mother told officials the other vehicle then blocked her in while the male passenger ambushed her, demanding drugs.

"She says she does not have any drugs". When she explained she didn't have any drugs, the passenger took her cellphone and abducted her son.

An Amber Alert had been issued Thursday night for Alejandro Ripley, who is autistic. "We are very sad to report that the child was found deceased".

A body of a child was found close to where Alejandro was abducted Friday morning, police reported.

About two dozen people gathered Friday for a memorial service for the boy outside The Friendship Circle of Miami, a center for children with special needs, that the boy attended before a shutdown because of coronavirus rules, according to the station. The body is believed to be Ripley, though the body was not officially identified.

According to the agency, Alejandro, who was autistic and non-verbal, was pulled out of his mother's auto by two black men driving a light blue four-door sedan.

A man was shot while driving and then collided into a building early Thursday afternoon, police said. Patricia told investigators that she did not recognize the men, who have been described as two black men, according to ClickOrlando.

One of the two suspects may be wearing all-black clothing and a black bandana as a face mask.

If you have any information on Alejandro's whereabouts, call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS or dial 911.
