Brady throws playful barb at Eli Manning for finally joining Twitter

Peyton Manning joked earlier this week that if it wasn't for his mother, Tom Brady would have won 11 Super Bowls instead of just six.

Brady, of course, has experienced more jubilation than heartbreak in Super Bowls.

Manning joined Twitter on Saturday, breaking into the social media world after avoiding that section of the Internet throughout his playing career. After making his first post on the platform, Brady made a decision to troll him with a reference to his abilities in the Super Bowl.

"Welcome, @EliManning, In typical fashion, you never showed up until the 4th quarter anyway", Brady wrote, quote-tweeting Manning's tweet that announced Manning was joining Twitter. If anybody should be trolling here, it would have to be Eli who dashed Brady's hopes of a 19-0 season over 10 years ago.

Brady can no longer exact revenge on the gridiron, with both Manning brothers retired. Clearly, this friendly rivalry is still alive and well.
