In court documents she claimed: 'my husband expects me to move out of our home on [May 18] in the middle of New York City being on pause due to COVID-19'.

Due to the pandemic, Mary-Kate said she couldn't "look for another apartment right now, let alone retrieve my separate property belongings and I am gravely concerned my husband will dissipate, dispose of and / or secret".

According to the outlet, which obtained the original filing, Olsen was looking to speed up the process with an emergency order because Sarkozy allegedly terminated the lease of their NY apartment, and his lawyers have also reportedly emailed Olsen notifying her that she needs to move out by May 18.

This apparently did not match Olsen's "more reclusive" personality. "She's not that interested in socializing - she likes small gatherings with select people".

"Her business interests and fortune are protected", the source continued.
