Elon Musk announces son's birth and unique name

The new parents are still yet to let the world know the babys name but one can only speculate it will be wild and unexpected.

The Canadian singer, whose real name is Claire Boucher, and the CEO of SpaceX welcomed their son on Monday, Musk tweeted. She added, "I have spent my whole life avoiding that situation, so it was just a profound commitment".

Musk posted to Twitter the two had a baby boy, and that Grimes and the child were healthy.

When asked about what the newborn baby's name was on Twitter, Musk revealed the boy's name to be "X Æ A-12 Musk".

Yahoo Entertainment has reached out to representatives for both Musk and Grimes for clarification.

He also obliged a second fan with another photo of his baby boy.

Musk, 48, then shared a second photo of himself holding and looking down at his son at the hospital, while the newborn smiled. The A-12 seems to be a reference to the Lockheed A-12 OXCART CIA Aircraft with the codename of Archangel.

"X Æ A-12 Musk", he replied.

Grimes has officially given birth to her first child. Whether that is the child's actual name is still unclear but Elon Musk might just be having a bit of fun trolling the internet. He shares his first five children with his ex-wife Justine Musk. According to TMZ, Musk is working on developing a movie to be shot in space with Tom Cruise.
