It also doesn't cover the Photos app and the Files app. After this whenever the user will return to Google Drive then they will be greeted by the Face ID or Touch ID popup.

Tech giant Google has started rolling out the nee Privacy Screen feature for Google Drive on iOS and iPadOS. For instance, you can not lock specific files or folders, and notifications will still pop up.

You can have the new Privacy Screen feature appear at launch or delay it by 10 seconds, 1 minute or 10 minutes.

You can enable the feature in the app by tapping the hamburger icon in the top left corner of the screen and selecting Privacy Screen. It also doesn't apply to certain Siri functionalities. Unfortunately, if you're an Android user you're out of luck. Even though the Pixel is made by Google-you know, the same company that makes Google Drive-there's no option to use Face unlock to secure the app. And there's no indication that Privacy Screen is ever coming to Android.
