Will Smith is heading back home to Bel-Air, as the former star of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air hosted a cast reunion for his online Snapchat series.

The show ran from 1990 until 1996, and catapulted Smith into superstardom, as well as probably being responsible for kick-starting a Hollywood career that continues unabated to this day.

Smith was joined by Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Daphne Maxwell Reid, Joseph Marcell and DJ Jazzy Jeff, who all signed on remotely while practicing social distancing.

They all came together whilst they're in coronavirus lockdown to chat with Smith about their time on the show, reminisce about a few memories, and pay tribute to James Avery, who played Uncle Phil on the show.

Smith has never strayed too far from his "Fresh Prince" days. While each cast member is reuniting remotely from the comfort of their own homes, it's still wonderful for any Fresh Prince fan to see everyone back on the same screen once again nearly a quarter-century after the show went off the air.

Snapchat shared two clips from the episode on YouTube.

'I got really, really annoyed that everybody wanted to do the handshake, ' said Jeff prompting a huge laugh from Will. In one video, Smith reveals that it's because of Alfonso Ribeiro that his character's name on the show is also Will Smith.

Will recalled that it was because of Alfonso's advice that he chose to use his real name Will Smith for his character on the program.

Smith also asked his castmates how they deal with being recognized as their "Fresh Prince" characters in the real world.

Meanwhile DJ Jazzy Jeff and Will looked back with a laugh on the famous handshake they greeted each other with on the show.

The second installment will air Thursday, April 30, at 6 a.m. EST. "It was such a deep insight that you had", Smith said.

Ribeiro explained: "We had talked and I said 'Look if you're ever going to do this show, you've got to be Will Smith'".

Will's guests have ranged from supermodel Tyra Banks to Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute Of Allergy And Infectious Diseases.
