There's no doubt that Lucasfilm is doing their best to make the final season of The Clone Wars memorable, and with the final duel between Ahsoka and Maul, they made a decision to bring in actual Maul actor Ray Park to do the fight choreography. However, it turns out the cast and crew of Clone Wars had to do a lot more to execute this particular fight.

What's fantastic is that this is the first time that the team has used motion capture to bring a fight to life. The stuntman explained they made a decision to add bigger acrobatic moves to Maul's repertoire, including butterfly twists and corkscrews.

I'm sure fans will be thrilled to see Ray Park in action once again, and watching this video is a surreal experience for me because I actually got to have my own lightsaber fight with Park himself around the time Solo: A Star Wars Story came to theaters.

For those who are not caught up with the series, this is a huge SPOILER WARNING for you. Sound off in the comments below!

A behind-the-scenes video talks about the making of the episode, which brings to life the long-awaited Siege of Mandalore, and also sees Ahsoka face off against Maul, both verbally and in a duel in the Mandalorian throne room.

Fans of Star Wars: The Clone Wars must have all seen the latest episode on Disney+, The Phantom Apprentice (Season 7, Episode 10) and probably scrambled to pick their jaws off the floor after that scene. "When Order 66 is declared in the midst of her journey, her world is turned upside down".

Created by George Lucas, with Dave Filoni as executive producer/supervising director, The Clone Wars stars Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Dee Bradley Baker as Captain Rex and the clone troopers, James Arnold Taylor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, and Sam Witwer as Maul.

This arc is likely to be Maul's last appearance in the series, as his events now begin to overlap with Revenge of the Sithand Maul's survival from his apparent death in The Phantom Menace It had not been established when the movie was released.
