Disney + has had a few changes to its lineup, deciding which shows would be better on the more family friendly streaming service and what shows have a slightly more adult feel to them.

The move from Disney + to Hulu will put Love, Victor in good company with similar thematic dramedy shows including PEN15 and Looking for Alaska. "The show's contemporary lens and honest storytelling make it a flawless fit for the millions of fans on Hulu who already watch and see themselves in series like Looking for Alaska, Pen15 and Grown-ish".

Love, Victor hails from This Is Us executive producers/co-showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, who wrote the movie, and 20th Century Fox TV. But this story won't just retread the exact same storyline as the first movie, opting to let Victor figure out the trials and tribulations of his own awkward high school experience.

Love, Victor also stars Ana Ortiz, Sophia Bush, James Martinez, Isabella Ferreira, Mateo Fernandez, Rachel Naomi Hilson, Bebe Wood, George Sear, Anthony Turpel, and Mason Gooding.

Nick Robinson, who starred as gay teen Simon Spier in the groundbreaking 2018 film, will return to produce and narrate the series. As for how numerous 10 episodes he'll appear in, that remains to be seen.

The follow-up series - which premieres on Friday, June 19, as revealed in the teaser above - stars Michael Cimino (Annabelle Comes Home) as the titular Creekwood High School student, who is facing challenges at home, adjusting to a new city and struggling with his sexual orientation. "When it all seems too much, he reaches out to Simon to help him navigate the ups and downs of high school".
