It goes without saying that the Nokia 8 Sirocco made its commercial debut back in 2018 running Android 8.0 Oreo, which makes this its second and nearly certainly final major OS revision. Nokia 8 Sirocco users will be able to revel in all the standard Android 10 features such as a system-wide dark mode, Digital Wellbeing stats, Google's new navigation gestures, and more. But, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Android 10 update time for all the devices were revised by the company.

Compared to its Android 9 Pie rollout previous year, Nokia's Android 10 update timeline has been somewhat disappointing.

A tweet from Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer, HMD Global confirmed the Android 10 rollout. As you may be already aware the page lists Build number and details like whether it is just a security patch or firmware update + security patch for a particular device. The second wave rollout will bring Android 10 to more countries. This phone, now well and truly over 2 years old, has been updated to Android 9 (Pie) and will apparently still see security updates till at least the end of 2020 according to HMD Global/Nokia. The update size is around 1.38 GB and it is recommended to use Wi-Fi to download the update.
