Tesla announces to furloughs non-essential workers; Pay Cut for VP, MDs

It joins a long list of automakers which have also been forced to furlough USA workers as demand for cars plummets.

Employees placed on furlough will maintain their healthcare benefits and will be eligible for unemployment benefits through their state agencies.

The firm has also shut down factories in NY that are making solar roof tiles.

Tesla on March 20 stated it believed it had sufficient liquidity to efficiently navigate the prolonged interval of uncertainty, with some $6.three billion in money on the finish of the third quarter, forward of a current $2.three billion capital elevate.
