Forza Street release date revealed for Android

However, unlike earlier titles like Forza Horizon and Forza Motorsport, Forza Street requires players to collect and assemble a legendary lineup of cars to compete in intense, cinematic races.

Now, the Redmond company has announced a release date, noting that Forza Street is coming to Android and iOS on May 5. It was then officially brought under the acclaimed Forza franchise banner past year, when it was promised for a future mobile release.

Forza Street is meant for both serious gamers looking to build up a long story-driven campaign as well as casual players looking to squeeze in a few minutes of fun in between their shifts at work. To make the experience of racing on a phone easier, the game-makers have eschewed the steering part altogether.

Forza Street features a diverse range of real-world cars and a cool night setting. All of this is handled automatically. A Windows 10 version of the game is already out, and progress can be shared between it and its upcoming mobile port. It seems like players aren't actually in control of their auto beyond following on-screen instructions to brake, accelerate, pull away, and use nitro boosts. Like a newly qualified driver taking a supercar off the lot for the first time, this may therefore be a case of proceeding with extreme caution. Racing will be conveniently short enough for a quick play on the go. The company also confirmed that everyone who plays the game between May 5 and June 5 will receive a so-called Founder's Pack.

You can pre-register for the game right now, and if you play it within the first month you'll get the Founders Pack, which contains the 2017 Ford GT and some virtual dosh.
