So far we've heard two singles from the forthcoming Strokes LP: the highly experimental synth piece "At the Door" and the very Strokes-y guitar number "Bad Decisions". Now they have shared another song from it, "Brooklyn Bridge to Chorus".

The Hard to Explain singer has used this sound numerous times in the past with The Voidz - his musical side project - seemingly setting it in stone as a part of his signature sound. The longtime couple recently divorced, according to Rolling Stone.

Earlier this year, The Strokes announced the release of their first album in seven years at a Bernie Sanders rally in New Hampshire. The New Abnormal follows 2013's Comedown Machine - which was described by Hot Press's Paul Nolan as an "impressive return to form".

The New Abnormal is The Strokes' sixth studio album and was recorded at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu and produced by Rick Rubin.

The new single comes after news the vinyl release of The New Abnormal had been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic until April 24; the album will still be available digitally on Friday.
