Actor So Ji Sub is officially married

Earlier on April 7, So Ji Sub's label 51K announced that the actor (43) and former announcer Jo Eun Jung (26) have officially registered their marriage.

Following the wishes of So Ji Sub and Jo Eun Jung who want to quietly cherish the most important and happy moment of their lives, they made a decision to hold a quiet wedding with only their immediate families, and to provide at least a bit of comfort and hope in this time when everyone is experiencing difficulty, donate 50 million won to Good Neighbors and provide tablets and smart devices to children who lack educational support. The two confirmed their relationship in May previous year.

The agency said the newlywed couple will donate 50 million won (US$40,900) to the local charity Good Neighbors "to help people overcome these hard times", in reference to the nationwide effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

So debuted in 1995 as a model and started his acting career the following year on the MBC drama Three Guys And Three Girls (1996).

A former competitive swimmer, So is famous for his roles in TV series, such as "Something Happened in Bali" (2004), "Master's Sun" (2013) and "Oh My Venus" (2015).

His most recent works include the 2018 television drama My Secret Terrius.

So is now chief executive of 51K, an entertainment agency he established in 2009. The dancer turned reporter has reportedly suspended broadcasting work since the summer of 2018 to continue her education.
