Get ready for another round of content as the third season of Modern Warfare gets ready to kick off.

This weekend may be sending off Season 2 with a bunch of events, including double XP, free battle pass tiers, and a free Modern Warfare playlist in Warzone, but some eyes are already turning to next week's Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season Three. The upcoming season of Call of Duty will bring a lot of new content to the game. It added several new modes as well, though the standout new feature of the season was the battle royale Warzone mode, which is also available as a standalone free-to-play game.

The second season for Modern Warfare originally began on February 11.

That news led many fans to believe that this would be the return of two classic maps, continuing Infinity Ward's rollout of remade versions that have included Rust and Shipment so far.

A previous issue on April 4 was flagged by the Activision support, who reported at the time: "We're now experiencing connectivity issues".

You'll want to go ahead and start completing challenges while you can in the previous season ahead of Season 3's debut.
