Even though most of these are just rumors, the company's CEO, Peter Lau already like confirmed the refresh rate to peak 120Hz and that the OnePlus 8 Series will all be powered by the Snapdragon 865 Chipset with a faster LPDDR5 RAM with UFS 3.0 Storage along with a 5G modem while the phones will be sold right under the $1000 price mark which is of course a good news.

Pete further went on saying how Snapdragon 865 is the industry-leading mobile platform (System-On-Chip) that has been improved over Snapdragon 855 which is in itself the best flagship processor available till date. It would feature a 6.4-inch full HD+ display and a refresh rate of 90Hz.

A few days ago, we were treated to official renders of the OnePlus 8 in all their glory and today, it's time for the OnePlus 8 Pro. That, however, was until now because the good folks over at Winfuture have managed to post the first-ever, clear press images of the OnePlus 8 Pro. The renders also suggest the integration of laser autofocus and dual LED flash on the OnePlus 8 Pro. The report also indicates the presence of a 16-megapixel selfie shooter on board.

Finally, the cherry on the cake is the 5G modem that OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro (and others) will arrive with once they are released on April 14 at an online launch event where the world will see the new lineup of OnePlus' flagship smartphones. Both phones will be available in green, in addition to black. It will also get 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The phone is expected to come with 30W Warp Charge wired, 30W wireless and 3W reverse charging support. It is also said that the phone will have 4,510 mAh battery. The renders suggest that the phone will come in Onyx Black, Glacial Green, and Ultramarine Blue colour options.

However, a clearly noticeable change affects the front camera, as with the smaller OnePlus 8. A 48MP sensor of the type IMX689 with an f/1.78 aperture as the main camera and another 48MP sensor of the type Sony IMX586 are supposed to take stunning images, the latter with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field of view serves as an ultra-wide-angle camera.
