Kanika Kapoor tests coronavirus positive for fourth time, family worried

Meanwhile, the singer has deleted the post on Instagram through which she reported that she is coronavirus positive. Her reports have been confirmed by the doctors at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) as they revealed that her condition is now stable.

As per reports, one of her family members said that they are anxious as it looks like she is not responding to the treatment. It seems that Kanika is not responding to treatment.

Kanika's family, however, are concerned for her and said they are praying for her fast recovery. One of her family members also expressed that due to the ongoing national lockdown for containing the spread of the disease, it is also impossible for them to airlift and take her for advanced treatment out of Lucknow.

The Bollywood singer had tested positive for COVID-19 the first after she returned from London on March 9. There were reports that her third sample was not investigated due to some technical reasons.

Singer Kanika Kapoor, who is admitted in Lucknow's PGI, is being treated under the strict supervision of doctors.

After she tested positive, she was slammed by the media and netizens for attending parties and spreading the virus though none of those who came into contact with her tested positive till date. Earlier, Lucknow police booked Kanika on charges of negligence for attending various social events in the city despite being infected with coronavirus and having been instructed by the authorities to isolate herself at her home.
