Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord Is Launching A Day Early

Aspiring lords will be able to jump in on March 30 instead of the originally planned last day of the month. The campaign mode is a more structured Mount & Blade single-player experience and will blend a solid storyline with the traditional sandbox gameplay of previous games.

Take up your sword and saddle up your steed, for Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord rides to Early Access a touch.well.earlier than anticipated. The game's much-improved combat mechanics, as well as troop command, make Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord an evolution of its predecessors. Should you wish to, you can, of course, ignore the campaign missions and simply reave as you please.

Despite having to work from home to push out the early access release of Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, developer TaleWorlds announced on Friday that the game would actually release ahead of schedule on Monday, March 30 at 3:00 AM PT and 6:00 AM ET. As with most things, though, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has prompted TaleWorlds to change its plans. That means you'll create a character, recruit warbands to fight with you, and explore the land of Calradia as re-envisioned by TaleWorlds. Skirmish, Captain, Team Deathmatch, and Siege modes will be available for Early Access. Not bad for a brand new game. Expect more to come for multiplayer as the game's full release draws nearer. So with that fact in mind, TaleWorlds has decided to make Bannerlord 10% off for the first two weeks of sale, to sweeten the deal even further they are also offering an additional 10% if you own another Mount and Blade title. Since so many people are now out of work and stuck at home, developer TaleWorlds will launch the game at 10% off its base price. TaleWorlds says this will apply to "select digital stores", although it's not clear which stores they're referring to. We will now go over everything we know so far about Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord's new release date. Now after years of delays, rumours and speculation, the game is finally arriving - now a day early to get your hands on the inevitably buggy and broken Early Access version!
