Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN has reported that IMG Academy forward Kenyon Martin Jr., has declared for the 2020 NBA Draft.

Martin, a wing, measures in at 6-foot-7.

In 2019, Martin had numerous scholarship offers and was leaning towards going to Vanderbilt, but instead chose to spend a year playing and training with the IMG Academy in Florida.

The 2020 NBA Draft marks 20 years since the New Jersey Nets selected Kenyon Martin out of the University of Cincinnati with the No. 1 overall pick. He thanks his supporters and had a message in his announcement to those who disagreed with that decision. "It has been a lifelong dream of mine and I will continue to work day by day to prove to myself and everyone that this is where I belong", wrote Martin Jr. on Instagram. He played 15 seasons in the league with 5 NBA teams reaching the NBA Finals two times with the New Jersey Nets.

The pre-draft process, which will be limited this spring, could be important for Martin Jr., who will get feedback from National Basketball Association teams after not playing against NCAA competition this season.
