CD PROJEKT RED, the Polish developer studio that brought us The Witcher game series, have announced that their GWENT: The Witcher Card Game is now available for Android. There's full cross-play between PC, iOS, and Android.

The Witcher Card Game is now available for Android.

Since Netflix released their adaptation of The Witcher last December, fans of the game re-played The Witcher 3 or propelled others who play it for the first time. And thanks to built-in crossplay, you'll be able to challenge players on those platforms as well.

The game is fairly sizeable at over 2GB in size, so it's recommended that you download the game on Wi-Fi to avoid taking up a huge amount of mobile data, while also ensuring that you have enough storage space on your device.

If you're interested in downloading the Gwent Android game, you can find it on the Play Store here. It grew so popular, even getting physical decks bundles with the game's DLC, that not one but two games spawned from it: Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales and a more fleshed-out version of the basic mini-game in Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. "If you have a GOG.COM account associated with GWENT, all progress and purchases will cross over to the Android version so you can pick up exactly where you left off!" Any player who pre-registered for the Android version will also get the Imperial Golem avatar immediately upon login.
