But Riot Games just announced that-surprise, surprise-the mobile version is launching in just two days, on March 19 for both iOS and Android devices. Teamfight Tactics is an auto chess type of game where players build their teams of heroes from League of Legends and face other players in versus matches. Riot says the game has hit around 80 million players globally since launch, so finding a game on mobile shouldn't be too hard.

Riot Games revealed today that the hit autobattler will be available in the App Store and Google Play on March 19.

Dax Andrus, Product Lead on TFT, worked to bring the full experience of the game to handheld devices: "Since launching TFT on PC just previous year, we've been overwhelmed by the incredible response from players".

The devs are going to do their best to bring the full "PC experience" to the mobile version by allowing full cross-play with TFT on PC.

The good news is that the mobile version will have crossplay with PC (in most regions) and your account progress will transfer too, so any cosmetics you buy on PC will be available on the mobile version.

The game would also get access to arena skins, ranked play and personalised player avatars, which are already live on PC.

"When we created League of Legends over 10 years ago, we never dreamed it would become this popular with so many players around the world", said Marc Merrill, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman at Riot Games.

A likely candidate would be Riot's third title, Legends of Runeterra, a digital collectible card game that launched its open beta in late January.

Teamfight Tactics fans can finally jump into the Convergence from their cellphones.
