Steven Spielberg's daughter Mikaela Spielberg has been charged with domestic violence, PEOPLE confirms. Someone already posted her $1,000 bail, and she's expected to be released after 12 hours, a standard routine in domestic violence cases. Mikaela lives in Nashville with her 47-year-old fiancé, Chuck Pankow. He told Fox News the incident was "a misunderstanding", adding, "No one is hurt".

Details about the incident were not disclosed.

She recently made headlines for announcing that she wanted to enter the adult entertainment industry, after revealing to the USA edition of British tabloid The Sun, that she hopes the career will help her become financially independent from her famous parents.

"Chuck's been super supportive, but it took him a while to get to that spot because he wasn't sure how his social group would react to it", she said. People will be resentful about this, people will be angry because it's nearly like I'm taking a piece of their security away by being independent. And then I can really start saying to people there's nothing wrong with me using my body in a way that feels comfortable to support myself.

The couple's blended family also includes son Sawyer, 27, and daughters Sasha, 29, and Destry, 23, as well as Capshaw's two children from her previous marriage - Jessica, 43, and son Theo, 31 - and Spielberg's son Max, 34, from his previous marriage.

Radar Online was the first to report the news.

"Obviously, though, they're embarrassed by her sudden public admission of entry into the sex worker world". "They are some of the least spiteful people I know".
