Contigo, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is reannouncing a recall of its Kids Cleanable Water Bottle.

Contigo is doubling down on its August 2019 recall of almost 6 million Kids Cleanable water bottles due to a potential choking hazard.

Contigo toll-free at 888-262-0622 from 8 a.m.to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or online at www.gocontigo.com/recall or www.gocontigo.com and click on Recalls at the bottom of the page for more information. Only black colored spout base and spout cover models are included in this recall.

On Wednesday, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission reported that the company had not only re-announced the recall of almost 6 million bottles, but in addition, they were asking consumers not to use the replacement lids that were provided as a result of the previous recall.

The products effected include a base and cover of the clear silicone spout that will always be BLACK.

They come in three sizes, and four bottle colours and were sold individually and in three packs.

Millions of a popular water bottle are being recalled due to a potential choking hazard.

This recall only involves the Contigo Kids washable water bottle sold from April 2018 until February 7, 2020.

A common brand of children's water bottles has been recalled.

Contigo has received a total of 427 reports from customers who said the spout became detached, 27 of which involved the small piece being found in the mouths of children. Consumers can contact Contigo, who will provide a free replacement water bottle.
