VR is in the pipeline and is actually almost done, to be honest. Evans has also said that the team is exploring with Dreams on the PS5, but there are no plans for a release at the moment. "I'd love to get multiplayer in there, but we haven't got a date for that as that's not almost done".

"Evans also revealed that there would be free updates and some paid content, "I know there will be free updates, and they will be juicy". Sony's Shuhei Yoshida loves what he sees in Dreams, describing it as one of his "favourite projects ever", and the developer was seeking content creators to make games with the studio to secure the ten year vision for the game creation system. "I mean, obviously, Sony has an opinion about it, but yes, although I don't know what the future will hold, it would be great to see that". Dreams actually already runs on PlayStation 5-there you go, that's the scoop.

Dreams is out now on the PlayStation 4.

That comment seems to crush any rumours that Dreams is to launch on PC as well as PlayStation consoles, at least for the foreseeable future.

Finally, Mark Healey also addressed the topic of a possible PC version of Dreams. "It's a minefield, even before you start getting involved with the legal side with lawyers and things, just conceptually how do you approach it?" he asked. So we've got a few different things we're looking at. "Isn't there some stuff that's happening, I'm not sure?" Now we have it a 9 in our Dreams evaluation, saying that it's "a extremely bold idea, and one which has been magically delivered to life".

The game and sandbox software was launched today, but people have been doing wonderful things with it since they began their early access period in 2019.
