Facebook Lite, the app offers only specific features that you'll find in the full-fledged app, is getting a dark theme these days. We had earlier reported about Dark Mode coming to Google App in Beta but it disappeared later. And when toggled on, it turns all the standard pages to a dark background, letting users take less strain for their eyes. The Dark mode toggle will only show up in WhatsApp v2.20.13 beta or higher. Eventually, every OEM and app developer is pushing new updates with this feature to satisfy their community. It further added that the company had commenced rolling out the feature to a wider user base last month. Yet, it was downloaded over a billion times from Playstore and is loved due to its compatibility. The app's now found to receive an important feature - Dark Mode.

Facebook Lite, for those who don't know, is a version of Facebook which is stripped down to its basics to optimize it for people with older phones and slower connections, particularly those in developing countries.

Dark mode trades the glaringly white portions of the user interface with dark greys or pitch-blacks.

Spotted by WABetaInfo.com, a new beta of an update for the messaging platform's Android app has revealed that the Facebook-owned app is testing out dark mode.
